Is this the outdoor clothing you've been waiting for?
« on: October 06, 2009, 03:30:40 PM »
Did anyone else get the new Bear Grylls clothing-line catalog in the mail today?

 :icon_lol:

I note that his $90 "Bear Survival Trousers" allegedly "laugh in the face of mosquitos and insects."

Oh, and his "Survival Jacket II" is only $475. Yep we've got a "II" already & it's Gore-Tex. Wasn't that stuff cutting-edge about 15 years ago?  :icon_rolleyes:

However, it is reassuring to know that although "extreme conditions...find you," it "doesn't have to involve frostbite and near cannibalism every time..."

Whew. Scary stuff...  :eusa_whistle:
