like this one that I stayed at on the Myakka River flood plain(Florida). I'll bet I'm the only one on this board that has lived in such an abode.

An exterior view of the plam log cabin. This cabin (and 4 others) was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s.  The CCC did a lot of the facility work in the Chisos for the future national park in 1934-37 and 1940-42.

CCC did most of the original work on the entire Texas State Park system.  See link.

Yep, Roy. The CCC did a lot of fine work all over the US of A during that period of time.
