Tent for Truck Topper

Has anyone tried out the "tent" that encloses the back of a truck with a camper shell.  The one from campmor is DAC brand.

Tried one of these seveal years ago, also bought it from Campmor but don't remember the brand.  Didn't fit;  just not quite big enough, so I returned it.  Even if it had fit, seemed like a lot of trouble for little benefit, certainly no easier than setting up a tent.  A tarp is lots easier if you just want some shade.

I could see using one of those if I am longer than the truck bed.  But usually I have so much stuff in the back of the truck, it is probably easier to set up a tent.

Thank you very much for the input.  I thought it might give more ventilation, but was worried about the fit and flying bug resistance.  I think I will pass on it.

major issue with these type of units if that you want to use the truck to run into town for more ice and other libations, then you have to take the tent down...
