No need to carry a lighter and backpacking stove and a flashlight - this baby does it all.
http://www.wickedlasers.com/lasers/The_Torch-74-41.html  of course the battery only lasts five minutes, so you will need extras.

Those lasers are extremely dangerous! One slip (unintended reflection) and you can have permanent eye damage. It scares me that they will sell them to just about anyone. Course, the news is not filled with stories of blinded consumers so maybe people are actually aware of what they're buying and are using them responsibly. All it will take is a couple of blindings, or even near misses, to be publicized and the government will step in to protect us from ourselves.

An idiot here in SA just pled guilty to shining a green laser at a DPS helicopter. Not a good thing to do! :icon_evil:

For my uses, a < 5MW green laser works just fine for aiming the telescope. I have no need for an uber laser.

I wonder if Governor Rick Perry will change from a green laser to blue laser for his pistola when he is out jogging the green belt and a coyote threatens his dog...

I understand that the secret service is not too fond of these lasers.

So, did the laser do it or did the person do it?  Lasers don't blind people, people blind people...  :rolling:
