You spend $4.95 at the grocery store for a Texas Monthly because you recognise the Chisos Mountains on the cover.

Turns out they rated the top ten hikes in Texas.  The South Rim is number one.  I sure hope no one attempts that hike based on the two paragraphs in the magazine.  They will have a difficult time.  By the way, they also liked Santa Elena Canyon but it didn't make the top ten.   :?

I was in Wal Mart yesterday waiting on a prescription;  noticed the DVD for "Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada" and bought it (13.95).  Impulse buying at it's purest. :D

But it only counts as a BIBE obsession if you watch it with the sound off and fast-forward through any scenes not featuring Big Bend terrain. :)

yeah, dragging Barry Pepper across Santa Elena was the best part.  Cut out all the other scenes with TLJ in it and you've got yourself a movie.
