Area WiFi/Internet connections
« on: October 14, 2011, 09:30:53 AM »
Not sure if this has been covered or not but I'm wondering if there are areas in Terlingua/Study Butte that have WiFi or internet. I plan on posting daily blogs and pics if I can get internet access. Can I tell ya'll how pumped up I am about being back in the Park? ONE WEEK TO GO!!!!

Why don't you worry instead of having a great time there, explore as many areas as possible. Cook up a good meal, check out a nice trail, do what comes naturally there. The proper pictures would be in order, then just post them as soon as your are back home.

  A better proposition, I believe.
Stay thirsty, my friends.

Hmmm, this topic seems familiar... :eusa_think:
I'm wondering if anyone knows if any of the hotels in Study Butte or Terlingua have internet connections.

I do apologize. I had forgotten that I had asked that last year.

Last year we stayed at the Chiso Mining Co's Cliffhanger condo, we had a spotty here-again-gone-again wifi connection that we think was coming from down the road at Kathy's Kosmic Kowgirl Kafe. It was on 24 hours a day so if you can power your computer from your vehicle maybe you could park near her place and upload in the evening after you get your sunset shots. Or during breakfast at her place.  :great:

Someone had asked recently (forgot who) about Wi-Fi at , and I'm sad to say there is NO Wi-Fi at the Castolon area. I verified this just a few days ago.
