Best weather location
« on: December 16, 2010, 05:30:50 AM »
Can someone point me to the best weather forecast. I have been using NOAA for "Big Bend National Park" but it doesn't discern between mountains and desert (although it did last night when the system was partly disabled?)  I notice on one of Richard's posts  (I think) he listed some very detailed, specific info on weather.

Thanks,
Leigh

I just go to the NPS website and look at the daily report.

On the National Weather Service (NOAA) web page for Big Bend National Park, TX, scroll down to the Google map and click on the area of the map that you want a forecast for.  Then, look up at the top of the page on the left margin and confirm the altitude that you are interested in.

I hope this helps.
