Hot Springs observation?
« on: December 16, 2010, 10:56:47 PM »
This non-mainstream media source reports cameras are now trained on the Hot Springs to catch serious infractions such as buying Mexican goods and being Buck Nekkid (either the act or the person  :icon_lol:).

My mind is a raging torrent.  It would have to be solar powered, therefore observable and use wireless technology to transmit images.  High dollar stuff.  Why spend the money there?  People have been going naked in the hot springs, after dark, since like forever.  Beer and dogs too but that's another thing.

Most excellent point! Although I beyond the age that anyone would want see me in the buff I most certainly wouldn't hold it against others.

Maybe Al and Undertaker are on to something here. If NPS continually saw pretty much nothing but 50+ year old guys in the buff, they might be sufficiently grossed out to reconsider.

This is starting to sound a lot like "Alice's Restaurant". "Can you imagine if just 5 or 6 fat guys a day, walk out to the Hot Springs, strip off their clothes, pop a top on a Tall Boy and hop in the Springs....And can you imagine if 20 people, I mean 20 people a day do this...well they might think it's  a Movement and folks that's exactly what this is...."

if there is a camera, there are either wires strung out over the rocks on the cliffs up above, or like Al said, a large solar panel to power it. if that's the case, it should be easy to find and throw a towel over it  :eusa_whistle:

not that i would ever do that  :eusa_whistle:

Even without the towel I figure at least a 20-30 minute response time . . .

I agree with Quatro, we could have a bender and we could get the older wrinkly guys like myself,
QS and others and give them such a production that the cameras would come down in a heartbeat.  It would be "Cocoon" meets "On Golden Pond".

No nude swimming how about standing nude by springs? Questions so many questions, at my age it might be fun to pay the fine and stand in front of a jury of my peers nude, just for comparison to the photographic evidence.
