I heard on the radio that DFW airport is pretty much shut down, so it must be pretty rough up there.

Yeah, it's kinda chilly up here.  15F.  Sun has briefly come out.

Went outside 3 times today to clear my front door and rear patio door from drifts of snow.  They're predicting single digits tonight, below zero tomorrow night.  Back in the 40's by Saturday, though.

18 F here with a wind chill of 0 F. DFW airport and Dallas Love Field shut down for a couple of hours today.

The below pic is a dusting of snow over a solid sheet of ICE.

4WD helps, but brakes are only as good as the worst err.... driver on the road.  :icon_rolleyes:

Forecast tonight a low around 7. Wind chill values between –4 and –10 F. High tomorrow near 20 F. Like that makes me feel better, it is near 20 F now.  :icon_frown:

We lucked out and didn't get any ice...  just 12" of snow with 40mph winds :(

I have a 3 ft deep drift to clear out of my driveway at 3:30am tomorrow morning.  Wouldn't do any good to clear it today, the wind will just move the pile back into place overnight.

Funny, we've only had 3 snowfalls over 10" in the OKC area since 1894, and 2 of those have come the past two years in a row!

I may have to break down and buy a snow shovel... shoveling dry, powdery snow with a regular shovel is not very efficient.
