I wish I could, but my trip expenses are already used up for a upcoming 4 nighter along the Hermit / Tonto / South Kaibab loop in Grand Canyon in Oct!

QS:  yes, that's the plan.  The longest days mileage wise is the first and last day, so I hope to make it down to the river at both points.  My wife is taking the trip with me, which makes it even more special! :)

I'm hoping after doing the Tanner trail this past April, the Hermit trail won't be so tough.  I've never hiked the Hermit, but have read there are several rockslide sections that must be crossed on the way down.
