This topic may have been covered but who is the best vender/government resource to obtain scalable/printable topographic maps from?

I'll give you a site to get free ones tomorrow, it's on my work computer. It has topos for public lands and national parks all over the US. I think there is a link to it at http://nationalmap.gov/ustopo/ under"download maps"

It's free and I have gotten several big bend topos as well as for wilderness and blm areas in new Mexico.

I've been using MyTopo for a last few trips and am very happy with the maps. I recently discovered that you can upload a GPS route and have it printed on the map.
