Thought I'd pass this on. Just found out about it this weekend working volunteer response to the tornados here in AL. We had been using Google Maps to plot work locations to send volunteers to, but this was slow and cumbersome as you didn't always end up with addresses that were located close together. We often had to locate a place and set it aside while building a packet to send out with a group. Someone there suggested
www.batchgeo.com . This website allows you to build a spreedsheet of addresses (columns labeled "address", "City", "state", "Zip"). You can then just cut and paste that into the field in the website, click set options which then allows you to select a group by and it will build a Google map. You can then using the icons at the bottom of the map have it only display the addresses in the grouping you select. It allowed us to print maps for the volunteers that automatically grouped the listings for us.
Not sure if everyone will find this handy, but it's a good resource and thought I'd pass it on.
