For those following HMODs trip report and having issues with datums and coordinate conversion, you might find this useful.

And if you're just looking to convert a point or two:

http://www.earthpoint.us/Convert.aspx

https://tool-online.com/en/coordinate-converter.php

Lots of others out there, but a lot of them are having trouble with the new embedded Google maps.

The stand alone app. Not web based.

Thanks, guys!  This is helpful stuff.  I look forward to not making the same mistakes next time. Too much Big Bend, too little time to waste on wrong turns.

I know, I posted the web-based for those who don't need or want to deal with installing an app. Yours is awesome for converting entire files. I usually only need to convert a point or two.

Nice tool, BK! Beats the spreadsheet I found by an academic at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. Both unfortunately give me the same results for The Wright Pool, so I am thinking the UNM published UTM coordinates are either off due to measurement errors or got garbled by fat fingers during data entry. There are probably other possibilities...

Thanks, Flash. I feel slightly less like an idiot.
