Thanks for that tip... funny on Mapsource they mention it would take '3 hours and 41 mins' to download the update on a 56K modem.  That's like saying 'our new album is now available on 8-track and cassette'.  lol

Got a question.  Does anyone know if you can open two files on the same map?

My delema is this.  I tracked a mountain bike trail in two adjoining segments.  For each I saved a new file since there was some time between each one.  I want to open them both so I can see both on the same map.  Is this possible?

I think what I did was to use copy and paste. I opened two instances of Mapsource, opened the different track logs in each, highlighted the one I wanted to copy and pasted into the other.

That is how I do it also.  You do not have to open two Mapsource programs unless you just want to.  You can cut and then open the next file and paste.  You can also select multiple track sections and join them together.

Was not aware that upgrade was out there either.  For some of you GPS experts out there, is this the highest resolution maps I can get for my Csx60?

The good news is you can get 7.5' maps for the National Parks, by region and the central region includes Big Bend.  If I want to get high tech apparently they will work on my eTrex Legend too.

Thanks BK,
Al

Thanks for sharing the good info badknees.  I'll get the 24k before our next trip.  Just upgraded to 2009 City Nav NT for my road trips.  Really good.

Thanks for looking it up Al, I'll get the 24K before our next trip.  Too bad they do not seem to have all of TX.
