Looks like they finally fixed the "save as gpx" problem.

Maybe, but when I download a .gpx file from my Garmin Colorado and try to open it with Mapsource, it says it is not a valid file.  Ozi and Topo will open the file, but not Mapsource.  I am a big Garmin fan, but sometimes their software is really frustrating.
