Anyone messed around with this mapping software?  Downloads all the maps onto your computer.  Fairly reasonably priced, especially compared to Nat. Geo Topo.

I use http://topomapsapp.com/ (http://topomapsapp.com/) on my iPhone and iPad.  You can download the maps on to either and with the gps, you know exactly where you're at.  Use the iPad with it's larger screen for planning and the carry the iPhone with me when hiking.  I don't use my Garmin GPS anymore.

Looks pretty cool.  Will check it out.
The maps seem to download kinda slow.. Will see if caching them on disc makes it faster.

Maybe even more interesting as Nat. Geo has discontinued the state TOPO series all together.
