I also had some luck adding "pine springs guadalupe national park" to the Google Weather widget for iGoogle.  It shows a snap shot of several weather stations in the area and lets you choose individual ones for more detail.

I see this post is pretty dated and i'm wondering how to add these specific weather stations to any kind of weather app (google weather gadget, etc).  igoogle is no more and i tried to add the weather ID to wunderground with no luck.  does anyone know how to add these to anything else?  the direct link is kind of confusing to me and i don't really understand how to read it.

I don't have any gadgets to test with, but Wunderground has a few sites for GUMO:

Pine Springs

I am unable to find extended forecast in wunderground. Do anyone know what station does weather.com use? I am seeing single digit temperature for the days I will be at the GUMO. https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/TXNPGUMO:13:US
Weather.com is the only resource I can find that gives extended forecast.

What days are you planning on? National Weather Service gives extended forecasts. Here it is for Pine Springs, near the HQ: http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.php?lon=-104.8263990823048&lat=31.89960586414489#.WjlZ1raZPOY
I think there is only one offical NWS site there and it's KGDP, a bit south of the HQ. There are a few unofficial sites in the park which are good for collecting data but don't provide forecasts. What I'd do is go to the NWS site for the region, i belive MAF (Midland Odessa) to get the general long range forecast (read their discussion); also from this page http://www.weather.gov/maf/ click on the second map naer the Pine Spring location to bring up that forecast page, then zoom in on the little map to exactly where you're going to get more detailed model forecast (I believe it will correct for things such as elevation, as the mountains will be up to 10 degrees cooler than down at Pine Springs).

Always follow the "Forecast Discussion" inks on the NWS pages, as that is much more edifying than the simple numbers.

Mesowest will show you the official and unofficial stations areound the park (http://mesowest.utah.edu/cgi-bin/droman/mesomap.cgi?lat=31.83&lon=-104.8&radius=25&rawsflag=290&site=PJNT2&unit=0&time=LOCAL&product=&year1=&month1=&day1=00&hour1=00&currTimeChecked=)

Be sure to select "All Networks".  But only raw data, not a forecast.

All the weather nerds have been wetting themselves over the approaching cold systems hitting Texas over the next few weeks, but the specifics vary a lot from model run to model run. Probably a safe bet for much colder but exactly how cold is anyone's guess until about 3 days prior.

I've read extended forecast is a joke.  Or more like people peddling useless product.
It's no better than using historical average condition.

Amen.  On our recent OML, we received rain and snow - the advanced forecast called for neither.

The link in the OP didn't work for me.  Here's another possibility: https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/TXNPGUMO:13:US

Accuracy is another matter.  I've sometimes had success adjusting plans based on weather forecasts.  The forecast and conditions at Pine Springs may differ from that of the high country.

This one seems helpful and easy to read:
http://myforecast.co/bin/expanded_forecast_15day.m?city=W72262&metric=false

This one I use for every trip to GUMO and BB. Things always change a little as it gets closer but I have found it to be close enough to lay out my plans somewhat. Use the NOAA as I get within 2 days.
