Typical status of the springs near the Chimneys?
« on: November 24, 2007, 09:22:34 AM »
We're wondering what the chances of finding water at the following three springs are:

1) the unnamed spring just SW of the Chimneys...just south of the Chimneys trail
2) Red Ass spring, about 1 mile NW of the Chimneys
3) the unnamed spring about 1/2 mile NE of Red Ass spring.

FYI there is a 3rd spring another 1/2 mile or so NE of the spring I'm asking about in #3 above, but in February 2007 this had no water and was nearly impossible to penetrate the brush anyway...

Thanks in advance for any insight here...
