Water in Carlota Tinaja?
« on: January 22, 2014, 03:36:22 PM »
Hey folks,
my trip is 10 days away and wondered if anyone has been by Carlota Tinaja lately and looked to see if there is any water in it?  If you have driven the Old Ore Rd. it is in the wash below the hairpin turn about 2 miles north of Ernst Tinaja canyon.  I believe you can even see it from the road in one place.

If anyone has been by there or is going in the next week it would be great to know if it is dry or not before we head out.  Of course I will ask at PJ but who knows what kind of info I will get.

temperatures exceed 100 degrees F
minimum 1 gallon water per person/day
no shade, no water
