Colima Trail - Anything of interest to look for
« on: September 03, 2013, 10:24:47 AM »
Planning a day hike to Emory Peak and instead of same return trip down Pinnacles was thinking of returning via Boot Canyon - Colima - Laguna Meadows.  This would add about 2.5 miles to the return trip.  Is there anything worthy of checking out on the Colima Trail.  I'm also thinking of another option of Emory Peak then bushwack Toll Mt and return down Pinnacles.  Any thoughts or advice on Toll Mt. - worth it or not, routes, etc. ?  Planning on being in the park the last week of September.

Colima--not particularly noteworthy; if you go back LM, might bushwack out to Pt 7077, that's a cool one; the Toll mountain bushwack is good, but the side over there by Pt. 7077, Pt 7070, Ward etc is worthy of exploration!
