I got the double room with private bath in the historic hotel for $142 plus tax, a total of $160.  There were less expensive rooms without private baths to be had in the upper $90s, I think.  March is considered one of their high seasons, so I thought the rate I got was reasonable.  And no way would I share a hallway bath with strangers -- I'm not thrilled about sharing the one in our room with my 16yo son! :icon_lol:

No, just an old-style hotel in which most of the rooms only have a wash basin in the room. The bathrooms with showers are down the hall.

Bathroom down the hall.  Not a big deal there as you walk in to the bathroom the showers and dressing area are behind locked doors. I think there are 4 doors in the mens area which means there is a shower and dressing area behind each. No big deal, as you know when you travel the hinterlands things are different.

My wife was a little leary of the arrangement too until she saw it. Plenty of privacy, just a pain in the rear at 3 am when nature calls.  :icon_biggrin:

The bungalows are very nice, just too pricey these days.
