Unpaid political ad:

Folks, when you really thing about it, 10ftTall&BulletPrf's suggestion really sums up the situation. It will never go out of style or lose it's meaning (and you don't have to wonder now what it means...a couple of others are very good but also very esoteric).

Plus, it honors quasi-Texan Davy Crockett (after all he was from Tennessee) with a paraphase of his own comment a while back.

This is my independent observation, I have not previously consulted with the  creator of this caption. No money or any other consideration has changed hands (nor will it) over or under the table.

So, I encourage you to get your fingers to the polls and vote for:

"You may all go to work and I will go to Big Bend!" -

I am presidio and I approved this message. And, yes, that is the line I voted for.

OK, my 2 1/2 cents....

Yes 10ft's is the accurate 8) choice, but from an advertising/marketing point of view, it doesn't roll of the tongue....

I must confess, that I voted for Jim's "Bend it"......his visual combined with the catchy phrase really won me!

Hey David, weren't there supposed to be two different slogan thingy's? One for the front and one for Virgil's bubble?

muse has a point ,who is you're target market ? hard core benders or the more numerous park visitors ? i 'm not sure some references will be understood by the park visitor.  including my own lost mine saying. will it be one saying or two ? at this time my son jimmy wants all concerned to know that  big bend ,where the wild things are , was his idea .

I've been working on a new logo for my website that I think turned out pretty well.  Regardless of who wins, I offer up this graphic (less the URL) to David if he can use it.  I don't know if Black & White / grayscale works well on a T-shirt or not.  It's kind of an art-deco-ish version of my previous graphic, but much simpler and cleaner.

Then again, David may already have his own design in mind !

Yes!!!!!!  It would match my new Lacey perfectly! I told David that whatever he chooses for the new logo and graphic, I would be proud to display on my spare tire cover (custom) 8)

Hey, I REALLY like that; it's a GREAT design. The grayscale is nice and would look nice even on a gray shirt.

David, on another note, this is my 200th post. Does this mean I get to pick my avatar now?

Seeing as how there is a consistent 3 or 4 way tie....will we be having a run off election?

Only one vote really counts.  This is just an exercise to make you think that this is a Democracy.  Kinda like in the Mother Land.  Vote for Stalin or DIE.  One name on the ballot.  I think Saddam also did this.  Casa Grande's vote is the only vote that counts.   8)  8)
