Boating & Safety
How many times have you been aboard a luxury houseboat? There will be an enormous 70’ luxury houseboat on display along with a 50’ river raft from Black Canyon River Adventures and a number of smaller boats. The boats will be open for viewing, boating & water safety education and carbon monoxide education.

Junior Ranger Program
Are you interested in exploring and like history or nature? How about animals or dinosaurs? Would you like to learn more about the national parks treasures that belong to you? The National Park Service Lake Mead National Recreation Area will provide a junior ranger program. Students complete a series of activities during their visit, share their answers with a park ranger, and recieve an official Junior Ranger badge or patch and Junior Ranger certificate.

Liberty Wildlife rehabilitates native wildlife, which includes all species of animals originating in Arizona. Liberty Wildlife’s Education volunteers have developed a variety of programs focusing on native species, natural history, environmental awareness, and human impact. These informative presentations and activities utilize live, non-releasable wildlife, hands-on displays providing a memorable and effective experience for all ages.

Forever Earth
A floating environmental laboratory and learning center a Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The facility includes a customized 70-foot houseboat and a reasearch barge. Forever Earth encourages local youth to participate in hands-on learning activities about the sciences, particularly limnology and water quality, but also other disciplines (e.g. biology, math, physics, and cultural and social sciences).
