I need to book lodging for a December trip. Chisos Mining at Easter Egg Valley can cover 3 of the nights and Terlingua Ranch can cover all of the nights.

Does anyone have experience/recommendations for either of these places? I'm leaning towards Terlingua.

Thanks!

Is the drive about 30 minutes? Bad roads?

it takes 45 minutes or so to get from Study Butte to Panther Junction, add at least an hour to that from Terlingua Ranch.

Thanks for the replies. We just booked 6 luxurious nights at the Big Bend Motor Inn and RV park for tent camping. We have 2 sites and will be on dirt bikes so stop by and say hi if you are around.
