here's a cool website that lists the champion trees of Texas...

The Meseta Cottonwood champion (also the National champion apparently) lists here as being in Brewster Cty., 49' tall, 211" circumference, & 84' crown spread.

The desert cottonwood grand champion is just outside of Ft. Davis.
