this place in Fort Stockton(house not necessarily representative of houses in Fort Stockton). We wouldn't have to spend a whole lot of time with lawn maintenance.

Lets form a BIBE commune there.  Although, I don't know that I want to live in Fort Stockton.  Fort Stockton does have the only Wal-Mart in a brazillion miles around there, a Sonic, etc.  I hear they have a problem getting employees in Fort Stockton - lots of job openings flipping burgers, etc.  I think Fort Stockton might also have a movie theatre?

Looking at our new commune house, reminds me of "Green Acres" - where's Lisa and Mr. Douglas and Eb and Mr. Kimbell, and Sam Drucker, etc.  Heck, maybe we need to open up the "Shady Rest" hotel and I'll be Uncle Joe...

could move that house south down 385 and put it on this land. That way we could have cows and stuff. That would be so cool! We could also set up a stand and sell rocks to those traveling along 385.

We could setup a check point charlie and charge an admission fee and throw rocks that those traveling along 385 that didn't stop and pay the fee our purchase some rocks.  We could get some "purple" robes or something to wear like the Harry Crishners or Bog Wan Rashneese - the guy with all the Rolls Royces in Washington State (deceased).

Who cares about that? Look at the feet of the Wicked Witch of the East sticking out from under faucet just to the left of that fabulous bay window.
