This year there will be major bluebonnet blooms throughout the park.  Timing will be everything.  The Rough Run drainage had thousands of them just waiting to bloom.  Feb./March/April will see outbursts of color.  The key will be knowing where to look when.  

I think the only solution is Muse's... just move down there.  Then you know you will be there when it snows... when the flowers bloom... when... when... whenever you want to be.

:lol:  Yes, Okie...so true! Not for everyone, though. wink

What I have heard from people that have lived here for a while is that the River Road W area is a great place to see many wildflower blooms. BUT in any drainage would be a grat place to start.  Problem is, you just can't really predict where they are going to pop. You just have to be there with your camera! :D
