Sorry;  need help picking one for a contest.  Has to be a shot through a door, window, etc.  Took both of these at Mission Espiritu Santo at Goliad State Park yesterday.

I thought the second pic was from Goliad State Park.  Did you get a chance to hike the Angel of Goliad Trail?

Way too wet for hiking, BBH.  They had a lot of rain Friday night;  ditches full, fields underwater.
Went up there for the photos;  wanted an overcast day so there wouldn't be so much contrast shooting inside the mission.

Another topic;  Hejira's been talking about a get-together;  think you might be up for a trip to Goliad or Aransas NWR?

There is something surrealistic about the blue above the door.  I like both the door and the window, but I like the door the best.

Looks like you 2 finally decided to meet. I just regret that when I was there , C. Christi, I did not get the chane to meet, but with family and little time for myself..it was tough. Good to hear that.

My vote goes for the Door, but both of them are great.

I think they are both great.
I think I would lean toward the window...although my first hunch was the door.
I gave myself a chance to "settle" into each picture...and after doing that something drew me to the window.
I wish the window wasn't fogged up...because it would be neat to see the trees through there.

The window picture is like a "go to the light" picture...it sort of draws me in...more than the door picture does.

I think I could have taken the door picture, but I am not good enough to capture that window like you did.  It looks more artistic to me.
I hope you win.

The window draws me in.  I'm fasinated by the texture in the gray "frame" inset and the fact that the wall is in total shadow.

I like the door, but there is too much going on in it for me.  The blue above is striking, but is that the focus of the picture?  My eye keeps jumping around looking at all the interesting things in the room, not really the photo composition.  The window on the other hand seems so simple at first glance, but  I'm drawn into it further and further the longer I stay with it.

Thanks ya'll.  I went up there to shoot the window;  shot it once before and lost the image when my hard drive crashed.  Took the opportunity with the low light to do more around the interior of the mission and "discovered" the shot of the door when I got home;  then couldn't make up my mind.
Trying to shoot the intereior with bright sunlight streaming through the windows and doors gives too much contrast.

Hopefully we can get together soon, but my schedule is murder for at least a couple of weeks;  was already busy then found out I had even more to do outside of the office last Tues. evening.  I'm still hoping to get to Big Bend last part of Feb.
