Anyone have any recommendations for a trip in Early January?  Things to do, places to go, Weather, Temperature... I live in Little Rock, AR and am planning a trip over Christmas break, this will be my first time there, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Plan early, park is busy during that time of year weather can very from nice to cold, park has HOT SPRINGS. Last trip was between day after christmas till Jan 2, camping was great, again busy season in park but makes for meeting new friends in Hot Springs and savoring good single malt.

I will probably be warm in the daytime and cool to cold (maybe even 20 degrees) as night.
