There is wi-fi at the lodge in the Basin, but I've heard it has a very limited range (I don't own a laptop).  Most people hang out on the patio just outside the restaurant.  Bring an extension cord in case the table next to the outlet is full.

I had heard there was wifi at the Basin.  I just have to make sure not to slip and tell my boss.  My BIBE trips were "work free" because of no computer....if this gets out I'm "doomed".... icon_lol

Nothing better than a vacation in BiBe and have someone ask me a real estate question while having coffee at the patio, free vacation time.  eusa_dance eusa_dance

I gotta admit, there ain't hardly a finer spot to check the e-mail than those picnic tables outside the restaurant.  Views 360 degrees!

The natural foods/coffee house is called Terlingua Springs Market and the British owner is named Pat. The signal is good but the place is small. So buy some iced coffee and a treat. If you have car troubles, Archie at Terlingua Auto Service (AC Delco) has wi-fi.  Terlingua Ranch Lodge does not have it (nor in room TV and phone) because they feel people come there to get away.
