I found on ebay a hiking stick medal.  When I scrolled down to read the description, a pleasant surprise.  The item description is accompanied by a very interesting read about Big Bend. Heres the link...

Wow...is the seller really just selling the medallion, or does he work for a chamber of commerce in the area?

They're looking for dealers;  says you need a retail outlet, but maybe Casa Grande could find some way to qualify.  Perfect match for BigBendChat.

Best item up for auction, i have read in Ebay.com , and those medallions are not bad to have them set up as a selling point, David Locke.

  The guy , sure knows how to do a sales presentation, he/she is tops in my book.

ok, so i'm slow....i just now got to looking at this thread....wow, interesting place to find info about the park....I love the medallion, the history and especially the photo of Pine Canyon falls.
