I have seen these tinajas mentioned in trip reports but don't see them listed on the BIBE National Park
site when referencing tinajas on the Mesa de Anguila.
The are listed on the pdf map on the site either.
Does anyone know the general location of these,
or have GPS coordinates for them?

Thanks.

Are you sure , on the second Tinaja, it is not Tinaja de la Vega? icon_eek...the one you write about means something really nasty. I strongly recommend you change it.

Or at least let us know which report it was in.  I came in late and am just a bit confused at this point.  I tried searching for the reports with tinajas but came up empty other than the usual tinajas.

Um, yeah, CM already explained it for me.  Only reference I found of it on the web was this report.  All you can tell from that report is it's somewhere south of Tinaja Grande.  The author didn't label any pics as the tinaja in question (although I might have missed it), although he has a pic of the canyon below it here and here.  If the tinaja isn't on any maps, maybe that is its real name?  icon_eek

I'm assuming this pic is of Tinaja Largo.

I believe there is a description of locations for both tinajas in Parent's book. Look in the Mesa de Anguila section. Just read it a couple of days ago.
