I highly reccommend La Posada Milagro in Terlingua. It was a great experience. Excellent friendly and helpful staff and great little rustic rooms. Convenient to the park and centrally located for most of the areas attractions. The owner was very helpful in finding us a place to board our horses.

It looks like a very nice place and reasonably priced for all that it is . . . when compared to truck camping in a remote primitive campsite in the park far away from nearly all other people with grand vistas that reach out and grab you . . . at least a couple of nights of that money might be better spent on camping equipment. Regardless there are many ways to experience the Big Bend and all are good!

Thanks for the recommendation.  Duly noted.

I was thinking the same when i was in Amistad Lake...$100.00 bucks for a Bed in La Quinta Inn. I could spend that on more camping equipment.

But my little girls , would go for the The Big Bend room with the Bunkbeds..no need to ask them.
