The pre-dawn glow over Big Bend National Park’s Chisos Mountains is reflected in
the recently filled man made Chimneys Lake.  A project dreamed up by millionaire Steve Smith, Chimneys Lake will soon be attracting boaters, jet skiers, and catfish anglers from all over the southwest and beyond. Smith, creator of the infamously successful Lajitas Resort, said that construction of a world-class marina would start as soon as the daily evaporation studies have been successfully completed.

And a few alligators from the Rio Grande have already migrated into the lake.  So careful when swimming!   icon_rolleyes

Since this lake is going to bring so many fishermen, you forgot to mention the new MULE EARS LODGE....  It's there but they are having trouble building a road to it.
