Hi guys, heading out for my first trip to BiBe in a few days.

This board has been quite useful, and between it and the Big Bend National Parks website, I think I have an idea of what i would like to do but I wanted some advice from the 'regulars' to see if I'm allowing enough time.

Thur
3pm-8pm : Houston to Del Rio

Fri
7am-12pm : Del Rio to BiBe
12pm-4pm : Santa Elena via Ross Maxwell - possible stops at Sotol Vista or Burro Mesa.
4pm-5pm : BiBe to Terlingua to pick up Jeep rental
5pm+ : ?

Sat
not clear on how much time these take, so advice is welcome!
am: Pine Canyon
pm: Ernst Tinaja

Sun
6:30-12:30pm: Emory Peak
2:30-5:30pm: Window Trail

Mon -> back to Houston :(

Is this reasonable?  Any other suggestions?

Thanks!

This is a 10hr trip to PJ. Depending on where you live in Houston, I would say 6 hrs to Del Rio + 4 more to PJ. Add another 1 hr to get to Santa Elena.

This puts you there at 6pm. If you plan on stops at Sotol Vista for a while and Santa Elena for a while you won't get to Terlingua til about 8pm.

If you need to be in Terlingua at 5pm you need to leave earlier.

If you live on the west side of Houston you can probably cut off about 50 mins.

These times are pretty accurate and don't include any rest stops except gas, eat on the road.
