Hey Ranger

I picked up the book Hey Ranger! True Tales of Humor and Misadventure from America's National Parks by Jim Burnett at a used book store recently.  It is a collection of stories written by a 30 year Park Ranger veteran.  It is well written and very funny.  It's amazing some of the things Park Rangers have the opportunity to deal with in their jobs.  Eric Leonard would love this book.

Hi - I found this Big Bend site when your comments about my book Hey Ranger! showed up on a Google search. Just wanted to say I'm glad you enjoyed the book, and thanks for the nice comments!

I wanted to send this to you in a PM rather than as a post on the site so it didn't appear to be too self-serving.

Big Bend is a wonderful park, and is the place where I took my first camping trip as a youngster with my family.
