April 29-May 1, 2008
The School Land Board (SLB) will hold a meeting under section 551.045 of
the Texas Government Code on April 29, 2008, at 2:30 PM to conduct a
field trip to inspect the condition of the Permanent School Fund (PSF)
property in Brewster County.

One has to wonder what this is all about. I figured it was going to be a sleeping dog until either the State of Texas Legislature or the US Congress took up the issues. Perhaps the Texas Monthly article woke up the sleeping dog.

It might just be a good excuse for a trip. Lots of play hides in 'fact-finding' trips.
