Microsoft Pro Photo Tools version 1

If you take a lot of digital pictures, you know that one of the biggest problems is finding the one you want later on. Microsoft is releasing a new free software package called Pro Photo Tools that you can use to add geotags (information about the location where pictures were taken) to your photos. It works with Vista or XP with SP2 or later.

You can automatically apply the actual location name based on GPS coordinates, indentify the location in a map, determine the GPS coordinates based on the local name and edit the image metadata.  To download the tool, go to http://www.wxpnews.com/080506-Pro-Photo-Tools

not yet. Is "live earth" similar/better/worse than Google earth?

that looks like a cool way to plant photos on a map/track/trail.
