OK Guys, it's spring.  Let's see some flower shots and, dare I say . . . let's not limit ourselves to Big Bend. If we do this right it will be properly categorized as "Random Bits from the Outside World" and "Other Stuff"! 

I love flower shots and I don't know why!  Here's my first attempt and I must admit I took it last spring . . .

Morning Glory.........Gambo a, Tunghuarau, Ecuador, 4/09/08.  There is no more appropriately named flower for an early riser like myself.  This isn't the sharpest but the early dawn hour required a slow shutter and my heart was pounding and my legs trembling from my pre-breakfast hike up to this small mountain community.
