Google Maps now has the capability that Google Earth has of adding the Panoramio overlay.  This is very handy since I fire up Google Maps much more often than Google Earth.

Another handy feature of googlemaps is the ability to drag the line for your route to an alternate highway.  Google will then recompute the distance and time to the destination based on the new route you picked.
