I've been really ripping through library books the past few years. Has anyone else read any of the Nevada Barr novels? The main character (Anna Pigeon) is a park ranger, and the stories are murder mysteries set in various National Parks. Her first novel,
The Track of the Cat, was set in Guadalupe NP.
The first novel of her's that I read was
Blind Descent, set in Carlsbad Caverns NP. I was suprised to find in the acknowlegement section Frank Deckert's name mentioned (former BBNP Superintendent). That's the first time if ever know anyone in an acknowlegement section.
