Cell phone users secretly tracked in study

Ah, nothing to fear.  The government certainly wouldn't do this w/o a warrant.  Plus, if you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to fear...  Right?

I mean, DHS/CBP, they have no need to "know where you are" when traveling around. 

Interesting note, it is my understanding that even with the cell phone turned off, it still emits a signal to stay in touch with the cell towers so that it "knows" where it is at when you repower it up.  Also, even w/o the battery there is residual power.
