Looks like a bad deal for the purchasers.  The paperwork reads like the state can later come in and do whatever they want without any compensation to the surface owner, including ruin the surface with open mining or wells af any sort.  Not for me.

Looks like a bad deal for the purchasers.  The paperwork reads like the state can later come in and do whatever they want without any compensation to the surface owner, including ruin the surface with open mining or wells af any sort.  Not for me.
Not to mention that all of the Brewster County properties are listed as having no legal access.

Ah, do like JP does, just ignore the signs.  When you get hauled to jail or to court, just say you don't recognize their authority the way JP does and won't abide by their rulings.  rolling

If you already own land on Terlingua Ranch, you can drive a TR road that goes to/through the property. Unlike the Christmas Mountains property where the GLO granted an access easement ONLY from the national park, you can drive to these sections. Two particularly caught my eye. The ones north of Villa de la Mina, west of Long Draw. Primo. One has a great view. The other includes two canyons at the upper end of Long Draw. Think about sittin' and watchin' the flash floods. The roads going to those tracts are questionable though.
