I would visit the park more often, but it’s not recommended to hike solo because of the risk of injury, and run-ins with the panther and brown bear population. Finding people to go with can be, um, challenging, because of the long drive and the desert terrain being somewhat of a required taste.......Saw javelinas (wild boars), road runners (meep! meep!),I’ve reserved a cabin for early May 2009 for three days, just to see what that’s like. It sleeps up to 10 people, so ya’ll are invited it you’d like to come with! Man, wouldn’t that be the funnest?
