I don’t know who you are, but I want to thank you for the gift.  Your generosity meant that while Joe and I hiked up and over the High Chisos Mountains we did not have to slurp our soup and oatmeal straight from our mugs.  It meant that by the last day I could detect traces of the previous 4 meals on my semi-washed spoon.  It meant that when I hiked up Emory Peak I had a full breakfast inside of me and a full dinner to look forward to.  And, finally, it meant that I could appreciate the full beauty of Big Bend National Park.
