You are welcome.  Fortunately, www.watchthatpage.c om is back in action.  I was getting ready to have to pay for a service  as the free one's that I was test driving were not worth a darn.  I use the service for many other alerts other than Big Bend related sites...

I took a look at the new map and noticed something else was different.  The road providing access on the NE side of the park was noted as "Road Not Open to the Public."  Now it says, "Public Access Pending."  Sounds like progress.

When we were out there on November 2, 2008 they were talking about opening the road.  They have been working with the ranchers on the road to open it up.  If that happened there would be access to the park by way of Marfa, Texas.
