Maybe. I wasn't exactly sure which letters to leave out or where to put the apostrophe. I didn't know whether to conserve consonants or shed excess vowels. This same phenomena is seen when 'Cuba' becomes 'Cuber' and 'Malpais' becomes 'Malpie'. In short, when letters are added to one word, they must come from another. There aren't any excess letters floating around the universe. It's part of that Einstein thing about matter.
