i was in Marfa on Friday, and was disappointed to find the Pizza Foundation is closed until 11Sep !

we had a nice sandwich at 'squeeze marfa'.... but the menu promised
'warm chips and fruit'......we got a bag of plain lay's
and a tiny TINY ! slice of orange.... like not enough
to flavor a small glass of water.

Marfa has a few charms, but the pretentious gloom
there makes Alpine really shine !

Alpine's ART already crushes Marfa's 100% !

check out the galleries in Alpine and you'll agree.
