This rock caught my eye when I was at Lost Maples State Natural Area a couple of weeks ago. The black and white lichen (?) spots remind me of a Jackson Pollock style painting.

Do you remember where this rock was?  I'm headed out to Lost Maples this weekend for my wedding anniversery and as a warmup to the OML over thanksgiving.

Yeah...the black and white spots were pretty unique...no colors.

LM was good1 I did some hiking with a loaded pack to train for the S Rim trip. In the end, I didn't train enough!  eusa_shifty

It was somewhere on the way to the ponds as I recall. I think it was on the right side of the trail on the way to the ponds.
