This was a drive into the canyon for my first visit ever.  The road is very good all the way into the park.  A couple of photos were taken to show how green it is from the recent rains.  While talking with the substitute ranger from Pine Springs, his trail crew came in from working a trail.  To my good luck, the trail crew and I had some nice fun conversations

Yes, much greener than it was when I was there in May.  Everything was bone dry, and it was extremely hot.  Low temps never got below 80F :(  Wish I was there now!
